California Walnut & Maple Chicken Wings

Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp Extra virgin olive oil
  • 3 tbsp Maple syrup
  • 1/2 tsp Dried oregano
  • 1 tbsp Cajun seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp Smoked paprika
  • 2 tbsp Tomato ketchup
  • 950 g Chicken wings
  • 75 g California Walnuts finely chopped

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 200oC, gas mark 6. Line a large baking tray with baking parchment.
  • In a large bowl mix together the oil, maple syrup, herbs, spices and ketchup, season. Stir in the chicken wings and Walnuts and toss until evenly coated.
  • Transfer them onto the baking sheet and spread them out. Bake for 35-40 minutes, turning halfway through until sticky and chicken is cooked throughout.
